Wahoo! Jet packs… I heart jetpacks. When I was a kid, I thought they’d be standard issue by now. Some things
were never meant to be… like getting a “Jetsons” car, for example.
This looks like this could be the end for Agent Roberts… but who does Mallory work for? Answers will come in time…
Next week, the conclusion of “Rise, Rabbit Rise!”, the first Bunny Wiggins story.
Man, it seems like Agent Roberts just isn't meant to win. I hope somebody comes by to pull his fat out of the fire.
Agent Roberts hasn't been having an easy time! This especially puts a damper on his day. As for Agent Robert's fate, we'll find out next week!
I'm on pins and needles waiting to see. 🙂
Jet packs are very cool, indeed!
And I hope Mallory uses it to loop back and take out Magnusson before Mr. Roberts gets the cold shoulder.
Magnusson would certainly deserve it… he's a creep of the first order!
I'm going out on a limb here and guessing her breasts are real! … am I right?!? [grin]
Why would anyone be looking there? I'm shocked! Shocked I say!
(yes, I think they're real)
"With my Freeze-Ray I will STOP…the world!"
No, wait, that was ANOTHER goofy supervillain who sang that!
"Well, a man's gott-a do… what a man's gott-a do…"
Joss Rules!
Anyone wondering what this exchange was about needs to check out "Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog". In my house, we are fans of all things Joss Whedon!
If Agent Roberts has time to listen to a madman go on an on about his nefarious plans (villains never get tired of hearing themselves talk!), he certainly has time to DIE! You've got me frozen with that cliffhanger, Jerry!
All villains seem to get that "prepare to die" ego trip… how does somebody "prepare to die" anyway? it's not like the dead person would be around to see the repercussions! Anyway, try and cool (ha!) your heels until next week, Mark, when Agent Roberts' fate is revealed… I think it will be a surprise!
I never understood why villains always give the hero such leeway and time to prepare for their demise while they go into infinite detail about how they will carry out their plan to annihilate them. Silver Age villains are the worst at that! And hurry up with that next installment, Jerry, my toes are getting frostbite!
It's like you said before, the villains like to hear themselves talk! There's also a healthy dose of ego in there too… "look at how brillaint I am"!
In the villain world, there is probably very little positive reinforcement from their comrades, so they boast in front of a captive audience. Besides, I think they get off on the fear of their soon to be victims.
I am a fan of the silver age comics… even though it's probably where lots of the comic book clichés originated, they can still be a fun read… especially the Lee/Kirby stuff!
Be careful with those toes 😉
I really enjoy reading your comic. The plot is great. I wonder what would be of her and Ian. Looking forward to the next one! 🙂
