Rise, Rabbit, Rise: Conclusion

So ends the first Bunny Wiggins story. For those of you who may have been asking what was so evil about the Countess, now you know! Coming next week – the epilogue, then it’s on to a NEW story!

Well, you certainly wrapped up this "tail" quite nicely! Poor Agent Roberts. I bet that hurt. Now you've got us all wondering what's next?
There will certainly be repercussions from the recent goings on… stay tuned!
Malt liquor and the hootchie-cootchie? That's an excellent combination! 🙂 I love the coloring in this comic. Are you doing anything different than usual?
Although, it looks like in the last panel that BW is a little shaken by the Countess casually putting one of her subordinates to death!
Thanks about the coloring… it's a method I've been working on for several weeks, and I think this one turned out the best. I copy the colored layer in photoshop, make it much darker, place it above the original layer, then set the eraser transparency low. I then erase out the highlights, and leave the remaining darker parts as the shadow. You'll be seeing more of this coloring technique as the strip progresses!
Man, I wish I had some coloring techniques. You'd laugh or be shocked in horror if you knew how I colored. I go Caveman-Style. 😀
I like your coloring for addanac… It's quite distinctive. The flat colors work really well with your line work, and you always throw in some interesting textures and patterns… you can always tell a George Ford original!
I think my sense of color came from churning out yellow page spec ads for Verizon… I bought a book on color combinations and used it a lot. I also love playing around in photoshop
I talked my boss into ordering CS5 for work, so I've been having fun playing with that and watching tutorials. I'd like to take the time to really get in-depth with Photoshop and make it do all the wonderful things I see everywhere else.
Most of what I learn comes from making a huge mistake and becoming impressed with it. 🙂
Photoshop is one of those programs that you could work with for years and only scratch the surface! If you ever have a chance to take some classes in it, it's highly advisable… it's really the best way to learn the ins and outs of the program!
I've dabbled in Photoshop probably since Photoshop 2 in the early 90's…but I've been using it regularly since Photoshop 3 back in the late 90's… before it had layers! I don't think I was good at it though, until the training I received at Verizon… then I took it on myself to keep up on it on my own. My most recent job was actually photo retouching school photos, which is only tangentially related to my chosen field of graphic design!
Oh – those mistakes you refer to, my art school teachers used to call them "happy accidents"!
BW seems to have lucked out. At least until the Countess finds out the truth. Maybe that's what he's worried about?
She does know the truth, but for official purposes chooses to put the blame on the scientist to spare her bunny boyfriend from a date with the shark tank (or worse)! His worry comes from that she is so matter of fact about sending someone off to the lava pit… and that he realizes that really making her angry could have lethal consequences!
Well I guess that'll keep BW on his toes.
At the very least!
Darn rabbits always get all the action.
Welcome, Tony!
Rabbits do have a reputation for getting it on quite often!
You know what they say about bunny lovin! ha-cha-cha-cha!
bow-chakka- woww-woww!
A goofy little rabbit and his hot, redhead busty human lover…hot dang, I haven't seen that since the 80's and it's great to relive the memories!
Yeah, I'm totally insane. Anywho, the artwork is awesome here!
Thanks! I think this is the happiest I’ve been with the art.
Excellent Roger Rabbit analogy… Surprisingly, It never occurred to me! I guess
it must’ve been there, subconsciously…
The main contrast, is where Jessica Rabbit WASN’T bad, she was just “drawn that way”, Titania IS bad and is also “drawn that way”!
After the movie came out, I read the book it was based on… “Who Censored Roger Rabbit?”… an unusual case where the movie was better than the book. Roger Rabbit in the book was the murderer, and died at the end!
Lava Pit? In front of the co-workers? wow, that is brutal… but then love making? Deadly but sexy… 😉
She would definitely not be a boss I'd want to have!
