I hope everyone has been having a wonderful holiday week!
For this week’s update, I present to you an illustration of Mallory. It was done in watercolor on Illustration board, and some slight enhancements in Photoshop. Back to the story next week!

Great layout, would make an excellent promo ad for a Bunny Wiggins feature. Nice to see actual paint on paper, too! Love that texture, Jerry! I already got my ticket for the Benedict Express, departing 2011 in just a few days! Gonna be a great trip!
Thanks, Mark! As I mentioned to George, I decided to make it available as a poster at DeviantArt… the first merch offering for Bunny Wiggins. I like putting paint on paper. My background is as an illustrator, and this is typical of the sort of media that I work in. Thanks for all of your support Mark!
Excellent painting Jerry. I never knew that Watercolour could be so errr… Voluptuous
It's all in the subject matter, Tony! 😉
And in this case it sure is the subject that matters. Mallory may have just won my heart over from Simone Addanac!!! Sorry George…
Don't apologize to George… you should apologize to Simone! Poor Simone… with her hubby in the slammer… this hasn't been a good week for her! 😉
Guess I picked a bad time to break her heart…
In time she may forgive you… her mood may improve since Harv is home now!
Wow! Good Lord, Jerry, this is your best work yet!
Ever thought of doing your comic entirely painted, like "Little Annie Fanny"?…or would that wear your drawing hand down to the bone?
Thanks a lot Aidan! I love the Little Annie Fanny stuff… I'm a big fan of Harvey Kurtzman. The thought of doing a painted comic has occurred to me… more so after doing this illustration. I think I'd have to do it either as a really short story, or as a print comic book, because it might make a bit tough to crank those out for the weekly update… but hey, if it were to bring folks in. I think before I do that, I'd have to build a bigger buffer in the updates, but it would probably be a fun challenge.
Watercolor always gives a neat effect, but it's so hard to master. I really like the background textures you've created.
Thanks! I have to admit, I don\’t use the tube or cake watercolors… I use liquid watercolors that are much easier to deal with. Come to think of it, I think I used a little bit of really watered down acrylic for the skin tone.
I totally adore this illustration! I would love to have this hanging on my wall. How large is it?
Thanks George! The original is 8×12, but I scanned it in at a high resolution. There are prints of this available at deviant art – http://www.deviantart.com/print/24245033/ that start at 12×18.
Whoa, very cool!
Thanks… and welcome! It was quite a fun illustration to do!
Happy holidays!
Thanks Dan! I hope you had a good holiday as well!
