Maybe it's me, but Van Schleiser's wounds look pretty final to me. I don't think I could just walk off a fence picket thru the gizzard. Maybe he ate his Wheaties this morning. 🙂
Today's episode was great, Jerry! I'm studying the way you rendered that background blaze. I struggled with that when I had AC on fire back in '10.

That Van Schleiser is made of some tough stuff. I'm not saying that he won't have to recuperate for a long time after this. He may have to crash on Tony McGurk's couch for awhile!
He'll always be welcome here Jerry. Brady Bunch is on weekdays at 5:30pm. Make sure his plane arrives before then so I don't miss it. I really have been watching it regularly since it came back on. Last night Marcia was trying out for the psition of head cheerleader. Greg was the Head of the selection panel. Another girl started dating Greg to try & influence his decision as she was trying out for it too. Faced with a tough decision between Marcia & the girlfriend he finally chose a 3rd girl. Girlfriend dumped him & he told his parents that he thought she was trying to use hi. Mum & Dad already figured that & Mike said "You really thimk so Greg" Greg replied "Sure Dad, if there's one thing I know about it's women". Too bad Big V wasn't here already as it was a classic BB episode.
I think I remember that episode! It's been a boatload of years since I've seen that show.
Some years back, a friend had shown me a teen magazine she had from the early 70's… in one article, it talked with the kids from the show about it's cancellation… and elsewhere in the magazine, it had an article about "those hunks from "Happy Days"… it never dawned on me that they had been on TV at the same time. I remember being about 7 and watching the first episode of Happy Days, but I only ever caught the Brady Bunch in reruns. I'm pretty sure I'd seen every episode as a kid!
Conclusion….why couldn't you just make today a double issue. I hate to wait.
I could have… but I haven't drawn it yet! *sigh* I miss working with a buffer!

Oh… that explains a few things…I was paying him in wheat thins. I thought most people enjoyed snack crackers. Live & learn!

I wonder how many have made the fatal mistake of turning their back on her? I'm sure many more will make it in the future too… she's not a kind person, and not the sort of person that should EVER have any kind of power!

Yay Big V made it. That picket had to hurt though. Tell him to make sure to use some antiseptic & a sterile dressing. And don't forget the soak his clothes in cold water trick or that blood will never come out..
Originally I was going to kill him off… but after you asked me not to, I realized that VS had his fans, so I spared him. He certainly was feeling some pain… but unfortunately, I think that outfit is ruined (especially when you remember that he was sprayed with cat pee a few pages ago)!
Guess he'll have to take a trip to Target for some new threads. I'm so glad I was able to influence the course of history Jerry. Thanks for keeping him around.
