I think this was probably the most difficult page of the story to draw so far! Love a challenge though.
Be sure to come back next week as the escape of Agent Roberts and his girlfriend Mallory reaches it’s shattering climax!

Even if this was hard to create, you did a great job of getting it done right, Jerry. I love the action sequence.
Thanks George! This is a bit of a transitional page… the look of the strip begins to change next week, because I had started a different approach to coloring.
I'm probably my own harshest critic. I see lots of webcomics out there with awesome art, and it makes me want to up my game. It seems generally that the quality of art in webcomics out there has improved since I started doing Muddlecreek in 2006.
Breaking a guy's tech…that's just low.
Nice fight sequence!
Thanks! I know my will to fight would be broken if someone destroyed my tech…
Mallory almost got it that time! Good thing there's two of them against the bad guys!
I like the eye effect on her in the second last panel.
A bit of a tag team, as it were! It seems that one of them can pick up the slack when the other is down… this may soon change, however…
The eye thing is fun to do… it’s one of the things I’ve been proud of in the series so far… a little Photoshop filter action!
That nad-bustin', jaw-breakin' destroyer in leather lingerie and hose is not mild-mannered botanist, Mallory Plainfield… that's Calico ! Think about that while you're recuperating in intensive care!
Those who survive her onslaught will certainly have plenty of time to think about that!
Woah, this was an awesome one! Lots of action and she kicking butt! Seriously, she is hot! 😉
Stay tuned! There's more to come!
your a better man than I when it comes to taking on visual challenges! I'll rewrite tit if I can't figure out how to draw it. Action scenes are nauseatingly hard, yet you pulled it off! kudos sir! =)
Thanks Scott! If a gesture or pose has me stumped or whatever, I'll pose it in front of my Mac's camera… the photo of me in the "Who Is Bunny Wiggins" section of the site was taken for reference for Calico's pose in panel 5. One of the reasons I'm doing BW is to challenge myself… I feel it's always been the best way to improve my drawing.
