This strip is just sad, Jerry. But in the best way possible! Also, I must commend you on your art. Your color and line work are just skyrocketing into the stratosphere! Great job!
Yes, it is sort of unsung hero work, isn't it? But we have to keep in mind that people do appreciate what we do, and keep carrying the torch even when it doesn't like it…
Now there's a skill that can come in handy!
It certainly is… now imagine that ability in the hands of someone that is a little unstable!
What is that song she is singing?
It's called "Under the Bamboo Tree" and it was in the film "Meet Me in St. Louis" with Judy Garland. They have clips of it on the youtubes!
Great page this week, Jerry. Love the direction this is taking. -v
Thanks, Vince! I wrap this one up in a couple of weeks, and then it's on to a bit of an epic – that I'm working on now!
In the first panel, I think that's the best Cutlass has ever looked. Wowza!
Thanks, George! That's the last we'll see of her in that costume for awhile, but I think she's become one of the more memorable chara!cters
Girls have that effect (affect?) on us guys!
I believe it is “effect”. I’m married to a proofreader, and she’s always setting me straight on the proper use of words.
A thing has an affect on something else (a verb).
An effect is something that happens (a noun).
So you want to say "Girls have that affect on us guys".
Thanks for setting me straight, Alan!
OK, lemme rephrase that: Girls drive us CRAZY!!
Evil woman mind tricks!
The philosophical question here, is , is it evil when used against bad guys?
I like her "I know if I had a gun…" suggestion then all the gun shots in the final panel.
Joy needs to lighten up on the mascara
That is, if it is mascarra,Tony… It could just be the way she is!

Thank you Mark… Thank you very much! It's good to have the hard work that I've put into BW acknowledged… it is greatly appreciated, sir!
