Next week – we begin a new medium-length story!
My wife seems to think that Cutlass never made it as a ballerina because her boobs are too big… I think it’s because that she liked knives a little too much. Maybe a combination of the two!

Looks like it's gonna be a crazy story, Jerry. Hey, what's your process on the Bunny Wiggins stuff? Is it all digital? What program(s) do you use? I'm nosing around so that someday I can assume your identity and take over your strip. -v
Assume my identity?! Well, as long as you remember to feed our cats, that wouldn't be too bad! I could use a break to go among the people in the village and see how they live. I'm sure hilarity would ensue in a laugh-a-minute mistaken identity romp!
As far as the process – I either draw in Non repro-blue pencil, or lightly with a mechanical pencil, then I ink on bristol (usually… but today's page is on paper- from my sketchbook), with Microns and Pitt pens. Next, I scan it into the Mac and color it in Photoshop CS3. Since I work a lot with the flat colors, I do bucket fills, then expand. Then, finally, I break out the Bamboo tablet (I'm too poor to have a cintiq!) and do the lights and shadows. To finish, I add the word balloons. Lately, I've added a step of pasting a palette at the top of the page to work from, and challenge myself to limit the number of colors to about six or seven. The colors are the most time consuming part for me… it can take a few hours. Thanks for that question… I love talking about process!
The limited color palette idea is definitely working. It's one of the most identifiable features of your work. Nice job. Thanks. -v
Thanks, Vince!
Or perhaps it was that her costume was a little too little!
That, and the long flowing dress she used to wear was a bit of an impediment!
The one on the left is a tug away from a vaginal wedgie! … but then one has to wonder where to pull! …the bloody swords indicate all attempts so far have failed! [blinks]
Yeah… no one could really get away with that little tug on Cutlass' outfit (and live)… she probably has some adhesive holding the outfit on, too!
Three times the thrill, six times the distraction! Looking forward to your next story, Jerry!
Thanks Mark! for once, I have the story nearly completed (I only have a couple of pages left to do the art for, then it's on to the next one). The following story will be pretty huge… might take me the remainder of the year to tell it – if I don't do something crazy like go twice a week.
Does reading this webcomic make me seem like a perv???
Nope… it makes you seem like someone with very good taste!
As I've said before… you won't see anything in the comic that's much worse than a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
WHOA! There's an eye-grabber for ya!
Then my job here is done… oh wait… almost forgot… I need to tell some kind of story now!
3 females i would mind to have as company. 🙂
They are actually very nice people :D!
I'm entranced by this cover. I like all of these amazing lasses. Bring on the tail! I mean, tale.
