Poor Mio! She probably doesn’t deserve to be saddled with a sleazebag like BW… unless, of course, she’s into that sort of thing. As we’ll find out next week, she’s more into the heroic types!
I would like to take this opportunity to announce that Bunny Wiggins has won the Bunny Wiggins Comic of the Week Award! They’re good folks at that Bunny Wiggins comic. I’d like to thank me for making it all possible. In addition, thanks to Jesus and other historical figures.* We’ve worked long and hard for this honor, especially for the honor of referring to myself as “we”. Free James Brown!

You suck. I wanted to win the BW comic of the week award. I think the voting was fixed.
If it's any consolation, the voting was very close. I was able to bribe the judges with a box of tasty Cheeze Its, so that gave me the edge…

I promised I wouldn't out the identity of the judges… but then again no one offered me a big enough bribe!
Somehow I think Mio will resist Bunny's bending to his will.
BW really never makes a compelling argument for this "will bending".
Boo! Fix! Those awards were rigged! A few scandalous photos and the whole thing is corrupted!
Doubting the veracity of the the judges? They came to their answer via statistical analysis…. STATISTICAL ANALYSIS ( the last part was all caps to place emphasis on the statistical analysis).
It will also be said that those scandalous photos were of dubious quality, and could have been nearly anyone. I've been told that I've said enough now.
I love how BW will go thru any and every emotion it takes in order to try to finagle what he wants out of someone. He's a sociopath after my very own heart. He could definitely teach Hank a thing or two.
I would say he's more narcissist than sociopath! He does get brief flashes of guilt (like at the end of the previous story where an innocent scientist gets tossed into a lava pit to cover BW's mistakes).
Often his finagling is undermined by his blindness towards what other people around him really want or feel. At first, he just assumes that everyone wants the same thing he does. If they seem skeptical, he'll first try verbal gymnastics to talk people into stuff, When that doesn't work, he'll blame the person he's trying to convince with just not being open minded enough.
It never occurs to him that he is often mind-bendingly wrong… and he doesn't often learn from his mistakes.
Hank and BW in the same room would be a dangerous combination! I think Hank is probably far shrewder in his manipulation of people, and BW could take some lessons from him!

Nah.. just the Bunny Wiggins Comic of the Week Award… I think he'd also settle for being mentioned on popular blogs and podcasts (only if it's not in a negative review that draws 70K hits a day like a trashing of my last series), but my doorbell hasn't rang yet…

The judges had a very difficult time choosing between this strip and PVP. Since I knew the judges personally, I may have been able to call in a favor… but my lips are sealed!

Mio is a formidable opponent for ol\’ BW, but who knows how it will all pan out? As to the Bunny Wiggins Comic of the Week Award, I consider myself very fortunate!
My wife and I were in the car heading to a birthday party on sunday when Corey Hearts "Never Surrender" came on…. she asked me if that was my theme song… I said yes, I will NEVER BEND TO HER WILL! Itold her …. its like you were in the car with us after reading this comic! [even tho I know your weeks and weeks ahead of your publish date].
… the conversation ended with her saying her work was not yet done! Like any dawg, breaking me in will one day be her victory. [ I peed on her shoes after she went to bed].
I was just telling my wife the other day that basically the way I do bw\’s dialogue is that I try to think of the right thing to say, then have bw say the exact opposite, and be over the top about it! As for me, I\’m well past broken in! Personally, I hated being single. We already have enough cats peeing on our shoes…
