Ah, it becomes a little more clear now! How did the Countess save BW’s life? Next week we’ll know! And for those of you who like Nurse Leisl, have you checked out this Pin-Up of the Week?

Ah the Countess is back on deck. I like to keep a breast of what's going on around here. Just a side point, Oberon was a class of Submarine when I was in the Navy. Trivial & meaningless info I know….
I'm a bit of a trivia machine, myself!
In the story (although I've probably never mentioned it), Oberon is the Countesses late husband, and Oberon is the name of her son, too… she also has a daughter named Miranda. As a trivia point, the names are from a Pink Floyd song, Astronomy Domine where they mention "Oberon, Miranda & Titania". Her name is a parody of suggestive Bond names… you could think of her as Titania Cleave(age). Her full name is actually Titania Eugenia Rackham Cleave, and before she was married went by the name Eugenia Rackham… (or "Genie",as family and friends had called her)! It's fun coming up with back stories for these characters.
WOW!
Thanks! 🙂
SHE saved his life?!? …. okay, now I am certain, the DEVILS gonna be in the details for this one! [grin]
Indeed it will be sir… indeed it will be!
Bunny better not get too excited wrapped up as tight as he is.
At least if he gets injured, he's already in the hospital!
Haha! Good point there! That might hurt! 😉
It would be REAAAALLY unpleasant that's for sure! 😀
Saved BW, but for what nefarious end?
I'm sure in the Countesses mind, BW owes her his life… it's all about what she'll expect in return!
From Hell to heaven! Lovin' the new look, Jerry!
Thanks again Mark!
With the Countess is involved, who knows what will happen next. Can't wait to see how BW survived!
It's a twisty turny and curvy roller coaster ride!! 😀
A hot, femme fatale in skintight black leather says, "My beloved"?
Ra's al Ghul isn't going to be happy when he learns his daughter is in love with a wicked bunny!
Yeah, I guess the Countess wears her heart on her skin-tight sleeve! I would hope in time, that Ra's al Ghul would accept his daughter's choice!
"Lapin". I learned a few years ago while reading Samm Kieth's cokic "The Maxx", that lapin was French for rabbit. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't learn stuff by reading comics. 😀
Really? I got it from the Mac translator… I also read the Maxx back in the day… I really dug the art , but I think I remember him going off on political stuff in his letters section. I hate it when they spoil good art with reactionary politics!
Yeah, I stopped when reading when the comic ceased to be fun and starting being too representational and oddly symbolic. It lost me then.
Liesl is the diminuitive of Elisabeth. Not Leisl.
“Erklären” means “explain”. The text should probably be: “Ich muss es der Gräfin sagen.”
Is “traurig” meant to mean “sorry”? It means “sad”. The closest translation would be “tut mir leid,” but leaving it untranslated would be OK as well. Another valid translation would be “schade,” which is closer in meaning to “it can’t be helped.”
Thanks for the translations! Maybe I should just write stuff in English, and put up a disclaimer that says "Translated From German"! I'm clearly not as well versed in the languages that Titania speaks as I should be. I do alright with French, but I'm clueless with German. I use the language translator on my Mac for most of the non-English stuff. Thank you also for the background on the name "Leisl". Perhaps I should have researched it a little better. I appreciate you reading, and setting me straight!
